CONCEPT PLANNING & MASTERPLANNING

The identification of ‘big picture’ outcomes is an essential part of successful city planning and development. TEC has an enviable track record in the preparation of Concept Plans and Masterplans for significant public and private projects in the ACT. A selection of projects undertaken by TEC is scheduled below:

Flemington Road Concept Plan
Client: ACT Planning and Land Authority
Location: Gungahlin ACT

Flemington Road is a major traffic artery connecting the Gungahlin Town Centre and Civic. It is being treated as a special category road known as an Urban Boulevard. The Urban Boulevard is addressed by small scale commercial development and urban housing with slip roads allowing the separation of high speed through traffic and lower speed local traffic movement. The corridor will allow for the installation of a future intertown public transport service and will be punctuated by commercial/transit nodes which incorporate transit stops.
